RPA Developer

We are looking for an experienced RPA Developer (Senior) to design, build and maintain the automation solutions that power our RPA & IPA program. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role. You will own automations end to end — from discovery and process assessment to development, deployment and monitoring — working primarily within the Microsoft ecosystem (Power Automate, Azure) and integrating with business systems such as Protheus, Oracle and SAP. You will also help extend our robots with intelligent capabilities (document understanding, decision logic) as we grow from RPA into IPA. Work Model: Remote - Hourly contract - Long-term opportunity - CNPJ/PJ model preferred What You'll Work On: - Design, develop and maintain end-to-end automations following clear, rule-based process logic - Translate business processes into robust, production-ready workflows (mapping steps, inputs, exceptions and edge cases) - Build automations across desktop, web and API-based systems (clicking, data entry, file handling, email, system-to-system integration) - Develop attended and unattended bots, including scheduling, queues and orchestration - Integrate automations with enterprise systems such as - Protheus, Oracle, SAP, Excel and Outlook - Implement intelligent automation (IPA) components: document data extraction (PDFs, emails), OCR and simple decision logic - Write and optimize scripts (Python / C# / VB) for custom logic, data processing and reusable components - Consume and integrate REST APIs and connectors to extend automation reach - Handle credentials and secrets securely (Azure Key Vault) and follow least-privilege permission design - Deploy, monitor and support bots in production — logging, error handling, alerting and recovery - Conduct process discovery and feasibility assessments with requesters (effort vs. time saved, go/no-go input) - Ensure quality through testing, code reviews and version control - Collaborate with stakeholders across departments (laboratory, finance, customer support, sales, HR and others) to deliver reliable automations - Document process designs, solution architecture, run-books and operational procedures Requirements: - 3 to + years of experience in RPA development or related automation roles - Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Engineering or related fields - RPA platforms (advanced): hands-on delivery experience with - Power Automate (Desktop and Cloud) and/or UiPath, - - Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism - Strong process automation skills: workflow design, exception handling, reusable components, orchestration of attended/unattended bots - Programming (intermediate to advanced): Python, C# or VB for custom automation logic and data processing - System integration: REST APIs, connectors, and automating across web, desktop and Office (Excel, Outlook) applications - Solid understanding of automation best practices: error handling, logging, credential/secrets management, security and reliability - Git/GitHub: version control, branching strategies, code review workflows - Ability to read and map business processes and turn them into technical solutions independently Nice-to-Have: - Intelligent Process Automation (IPA): document understanding, OCR, AI Builder or Azure AI/Cognitive Services - Microsoft ecosystem depth: Power Platform (Power Apps, Dataverse), Azure services, Azure DevOps CI/CD - Experience integrating with ERPs such as Protheus, Oracle or SAP - SQL: querying and manipulating data for automation workflows - Experience in regulated or laboratory environments - Familiarity with process discovery/mining and ROI assessment Language Requirements: Portuguese: Required English: Required Intermediate conversational English and Portuguese is expected. You do not need perfect fluency, but you should be able to communicate professionally.
