RPAA / PSP Registration Consultant (Canada)

We are looking for an experienced Canadian compliance consultant to assist with preparing an RPAA (Retail Payment Activities Act) registration package for a Payment Service Provider (PSP). Scope of Work The consultant will assist with drafting and reviewing the documentation required for RPAA registration, including but not limited to: RPAA registration documentation Operational Risk Management Framework Incident Response and Reporting Framework Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Third-Party Risk Management Framework Risk Assessment documentation Governance and Compliance documentation Policies and procedures required for Bank of Canada registration Review of existing AML/ATF program and identify any gaps related to RPAA requirements Provide guidance throughout the registration process and answer compliance questions Requirements Demonstrated experience supporting RPAA registration projects for Canadian Payment Service Providers. Strong understanding of the Retail Payment Activities Act and related Bank of Canada guidance. Experience drafting compliance policies and operational risk documentation. Experience working with fintechs, payment processors, or money services businesses (MSBs). Excellent written English and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with the Bank of Canada registration process. Legal, compliance, or risk management background.
