Real Estate Zoning Analyst

We're a Southern California residential development company looking for a detail-oriented zoning analyst to identify buildable parcels for our multifamily townhome projects. This is a back-office role focused on data and analysis. No phone calls, no outreach — just research and analysis. What You'll Do: Pull property lists from real estate data platforms (PropertyRadar, DataTree, or similar) Research zoning codes for cities throughout Southern California Identify parcels that allow multifamily townhome development (4-plex through 24-plex) Document zoning details: unit count allowed, setbacks, parking, height limits Maintain organized spreadsheets of qualified parcels Send weekly pipeline reports Schedule Requirements: This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time. Required: 2+ years experience with land parcel analysis, GIS, or real estate research Strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable learning new software platforms quickly Good written and spoken English Reliable schedule aligned with Pacific Time business hours (9 AM – 5 PM PT, Monday-Friday) Nice to Have: GIS experience (ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar) Prior US real estate experience California zoning familiarity Experience with PropertyRadar, DataTree, or CoreLogic Coverage Area: All of Southern California, including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura counties.
