- Each referral must include:
- Business name and contact info of owner (or your client)
- Contact person’s title and email/phone number
- Brief summary why the owner may be exploring or open to a potential sale
- Approximate size or revenue estimate (if known)
- Confirmation that the business is off‑market (not publicly listed for sale)
- 2️⃣ Warm Introduction or Verification
- Make an introductory email or LinkedIn hand‑off between the business owner and our acquisitions team, or verify the owner’s interest in being contacted about a potential acquisition conversation.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism throughout each hand‑off.
- 3️⃣ Referral Log / Summary Report
- Keep a running document or spreadsheet of all referrals you send us, with:
- Submission date
- Company name
- Owner contact details
- Outcome status (Intro sent / Exploring / Deal in discussion / Closed / Declined)
- 4️⃣ Weekly Check‑In (While Active)
- Provide a simple weekly message or short update on any new potential sellers or introductions made within that period.
- 💰 Compensation Structure
