Remote (Live on Camera) Front Desk Receptionist Opportunity

This is a fully remote role; however, because you will be representing a high-end luxury grooming brand, the position requires an even higher level of professionalism, attentiveness, communication skills, and reliability than a traditional receptionist role. You will function exactly as a front desk receptionist in a luxury salon environment. The only difference is that clients will see you live on a large screen at the reception desk, rather than in person. You will be expected to remain on camera during your working hours, warmly greeting clients, smiling, confirming appointments, and maintaining a polished, professional presence at all times. As the first point of contact for a premium men’s grooming experience, your appearance, tone, and energy must reflect the high-end standard of the Menzone brand. A key part of this role is not only managing appointments, but also confidently upselling services and enhancing the client experience. You will be expected to recommend additional grooming services such as premium haircuts, beard sculpting, hot towel shaves, skincare treatments, and membership packages when appropriate, ensuring every client receives a tailored luxury experience. Your working environment must be suitable for a high-end customer-facing role. You will need: A quiet, professional workspace with no background noise or distractions Reliable high-speed internet Good lighting and a clean, presentable background The ability to remain focused, composed, and available throughout your shift Working hours will be based on EST (Toronto time), from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Your responsibilities will include: Answering incoming phone calls in a professional, luxury-service tone Booking and modifying appointments by phone and online systems Managing the appointment scheduling software Greeting clients as they arrive (virtually and in real time) Assisting walk-in clients and ensuring they are properly checked in Confirming services, pricing, and billing details Processing and coordinating customer payments Upselling premium grooming services and packages to enhance client experience and revenue Monitoring salon security cameras to identify stylist availability for walk-in clients Communicating with hairstylists and team members to ensure seamless service delivery This is a highly multitasking position. During a normal shift, you may be working across: Phone calls and client inquiries Multiple computer systems and screens Video conferencing software (on-camera client interaction) Appointment scheduling platforms Billing and payment systems Security camera monitoring Internal team communication tools You do not need prior experience with all systems. Full training will be provided on all software, processes, and luxury service standards.
