Remote Part-Time ABA Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Assistant

Position Summary The RCM Assistant supports the daily operations of our billing and revenue cycle department by assisting with insurance claims management, payment posting, eligibility verification, credentialing support, accounts receivable follow-up, and administrative tasks. This part-time role averages 15–20 hours per week with a flexible schedule and the opportunity to grow as the company expands. Key Responsibilities • Assist with daily insurance claim submissions and claim tracking. • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits. • Support payment posting and reconciliation of insurance and patient payments. • Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and assist with follow-up on unpaid claims. • Research claim denials and prepare documentation for appeals. • Maintain accurate electronic records within practice management and billing systems. • Assist with provider credentialing and payer enrollment documentation. • Communicate professionally with insurance companies, provider offices, and internal team members. • Prepare reports and spreadsheets as requested. • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. • Perform additional administrative and revenue cycle tasks as assigned. Qualifications Required • High school diploma or equivalent. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently in a remote environment. • Reliable internet connection and dedicated home workspace. Preferred • Previous experience in healthcare billing or Revenue Cycle Management. • Experience working with ABA providers or behavioral health practices. • Familiarity with insurance claim processing, denials, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up. • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations. • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Practice Management Systems.
