We're hiring a part-time remote technical support specialist based in the Philippines to support customers of Tan-Link, a software platform used by tanning salons across the United States. This role starts at 20 hours per week and is designed to grow into a full-time position for the right person. About the role You'll be the helpful voice salon owners and front-desk staff hear when they need a hand — walking them through features, troubleshooting logins, scheduling, POS integrations, hardware connectivity, and reports. Most customers aren't technical, so patience and clear communication matter more than deep IT skills. Schedule: 20 hours per week, split between weekdays and weekends. Main support hours follow US Central daytime, which means late evening / overnight shifts in Philippine time. If you've worked BPO night shifts before, this rhythm will feel familiar. Hiring structure: We start with a paid trial period to make sure it's a great fit on both sides. Strong performers grow into full-time hours (40 hrs/week) at the same rate, with the same long-term path. What you'll do Respond to customer questions via chat, email, and occasional phone calls Troubleshoot issues and guide users through fixes Document recurring problems for our knowledge base Escalate complex bugs to engineering with clear notes Help onboard new salons Who we're looking for Fluent English, spoken and written — you'll be talking with US salon owners daily 1+ year of tech support, customer service, or BPO experience Solid, reliable internet connection (fiber preferred — DSL won't cut it for voice calls) A private, quiet workspace at home for every shift Fast learner — we'll train you on Tan-Link, but you should pick things up quickly Calm, patient, and professional with non-technical users Comfortable with a mix of weekday and weekend shifts during US Central daytime Open to candidates anywhere in the Philippines Experience with salon, POS, or scheduling software is a plus, not required. Compensation & benefits $7 USD/hour, paid weekly through Upwork.
