Renewable Energy Circular Economy Specialist

We're looking for a specialist in the end-of-life management of renewable-energy assets for a short, desk-based consulting input (approximately 4–6 weeks, remote). The work involves: (1) a stocktake of installed renewable-energy assets — solar PV, batteries, and mini-grids — and assessment of their expected end-of-life timelines; (2) identifying the institutional, regulatory, and logistical barriers to safe disposal and recycling of these assets; and (3) helping draft guiding principles for lifecycle and end-of-life renewable-energy asset management, drawing on circular-economy approaches. This is a specialized role. We are specifically seeking end-of-life / waste / circular-economy expertise, not general solar or wind project development, feasibility, or installation experience. Ideal background: -10+ years in renewable-energy asset management, decommissioning planning, or e-waste / circular-economy work -Demonstrated experience drafting technical or policy guidelines (e.g. waste-management or circular-economy frameworks, standards, or guiding principles) -Advanced degree in energy engineering, environmental management, or sustainability science preferred -Experience in Pacific Island or small-island developing state contexts is a strong plus Remote, English-language.
