About Good to Great Schools Australia  Good to Great Schools Australia (GGSA) is a values-driven education organisation committed to improving educational outcomes across Australia. We partner with schools and systems to support their improvement journey—from Poor to Fair, Fair to Good, and Good to Great. We are currently developing an exciting new Primary Visual Arts unit which centers on Indigenous Australian Art. We are seeking a skilled researcher, writer, historian, and fact checker to review the main essay that is informing the project and support its completion.   Role Overview This role focuses on supporting the development of reserch into topics realting to the Primary Visual Arts curriculum, with a strong emphasis on Indigenous Australian Art and culture. You will work within established GGSA frameworks and templates to fact check written content and research and write up copy on art. This role requires min 25 hour week availability.   Key Responsibilities Fact Check overarching essay and find suitable references. Research content on art and culture related subjects and draft text. Prepare materials for peer and leadership review, respond to feedback, and update resources accurately. Follow the GGSA Weekly Work Cycle and deliver agreed outputs within established timeframes. Adhere to processes, systems, and quality standards. Communicate clearly and proactively about progress, questions, or potential delays.   Required Skills & Experience Draft bibliographies. Referencing and fact checking capability. Experience of research Strong knowledge of the art and culture or linguisitics. Experience teaching Visual Arts to primary-aged students Understanding of Indigenous Australian Art and cultural contexts (or a strong willingness to learn respectfully and deeply) Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Confidence recording short instructional videos (clear voice, professional presence) Creative design sensibility and attention to visual detail Highly organised, able to manage timeframes and multiple deliverables Open, professional communicator who welcomes feedback Passionate about transforming classroom experiences through high-quality digital curriculum   Why Work With GGSA?
