Summary

1-New Wage Type Creation - Contract Expiration (Caducidade de Contrato) Good afternoon, Regarding the non-renewal of a contract requested by the company (geography (CVC)), our local legislation provides for contract expiration (caducidade de contrato), which is paid under the following terms: For the 1st year of service: The employee is entitled to 21 days of the gross base salary, i.e., ("Base Salary" /30)×21" days" For the 2nd year and subsequent years: The employee is entitled to 15 days For less than 1 year: The employee is entitled to 1.75×"months worked" Given these conditions, we request the creation of a new Wage Type - Caducidade de Contrato in SAP HCM, with the following specifications: Allows input by either amount or number of days (Infotype 0015 / 0014) Exempt from Social Security contributions (INPS) Subject to Income Tax (IRPS) calculated strictly on this Wage Type amount, non-cumulatively with other pay components 2- Within the scope of the correct application of the PLC provisions, we have identified the need to adjust the overtime processing in SAP for the Mozambique Geography through the creation of specific wage types that reflect the different types of overtime work provided for in the PLC. According to section 6.6 of the PLC, the standard working schedule for operational staff is 60 hours per week, corresponding to 10 daily hours distributed across 6 working days. Only hours worked beyond this normal period shall be considered overtime. Additionally, section 6.7 establishes that overtime hours must be remunerated based on the base salary plus applicable allowances, adhering to the following rules: Standard Overtime (150%) – applicable to hours worked beyond 10 daily hours up to a limit of 12 hours per day; Exceptional Overtime (200%) – applicable to hours worked beyond 12 daily hours until the start of the next shift; Exceptional Work (200%) – applicable to work performed on weekly rest days or public holidays. Considering that each of these scenarios has a distinct remuneration treatment, we recommend creating independent Wage Types in SAP to ensure proper calculation, traceability, reporting, and compliance with the PLC. These Wage Types must differentiate between: Standard Overtime (150%); Exceptional Overtime (200%); Work on Rest Days/Holidays (200%). It is equally important to ensure that the calculation base for these Wage Types includes the base salary and eligible allowances, as stipulated in the PLC, avoiding distortions in payroll processing and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. In this way, the SAP configuration will be aligned with the PLC requirements, ensuring consistency in employee compensation, transparency in calculations, and compliance during internal and external audits. Overtime Calculation Rule: "Overtime Amount"=("Gross Amount" /260)×"Overtime Percentage"+4.24" (Project Value)" Note:Please note that I am using a translation tool as my native language is Portuguese.
