SDDC and DOD Freight Operations Specialist

We are a 30 year transportation and freight brokerage company with a dedicated DOD freight division, and we are hiring one person to do one thing extremely well: work the government freight board and win us the right loads. THE JOB You log in to GFM through the TEAMS portal every day and bid on DOD shipments for our brokerage. That is the core of the role. You monitor available freight, evaluate offers quickly, bid strategically, and build our load volume with shipments we can cover profitably through our carrier network. Simple to describe. Hard to do well. Winning consistently in GFM takes someone who knows the system inside and out: how pricing works, how awards work, what makes a bid competitive, and how to bid at rates that leave real margin after covering the load.
