SUSE Linux and SAP HANA System Administrator

We are looking for an experienced SUSE Linux and SAP HANA System Administrator to provide ongoing administration, maintenance, and technical support for an existing SAP HANA environment. This role is focused strictly on operating system, infrastructure, database platform, and system administration tasks. It does not include SAP functional consulting, application development, or implementation activities at the end-customer level. Scope of Work SUSE Linux Administration Administration and maintenance of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server environments Operating system patching and update management Package and repository management Security hardening and vulnerability remediation User, permission, SSH, and access management Storage, filesystem, LVM, and mount-point administration Network configuration and troubleshooting System performance monitoring and optimization Log analysis and troubleshooting Service, process, and resource management Automation of recurring administration tasks where appropriate Documentation of configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures SAP HANA System Administration Administration and maintenance of existing SAP HANA systems Backup configuration, monitoring, validation, and recovery testing SAP HANA performance analysis and optimization Capacity, memory, CPU, storage, and database growth monitoring High-availability configuration review, maintenance, and troubleshooting System replication monitoring and administration SAP HANA patching and revision upgrades Database health checks and regular maintenance Alert monitoring, log analysis, and incident troubleshooting User, role, and technical access administration where required Support for disaster recovery and business continuity procedures Coordination with SAP application teams when infrastructure-level support is required Required Experience Strong hands-on experience with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server Proven SAP HANA system administration experience Experience with SAP HANA backup and recovery Experience with SAP HANA performance troubleshooting and optimization Understanding of SAP HANA high availability and system replication Experience with Linux patching, security hardening, storage, networking, and troubleshooting Ability to work independently and document all changes clearly Good written and spoken English Experience with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications, SAP HANA Cockpit, command-line HANA administration tools, monitoring platforms, and enterprise backup solutions will be considered an advantage.
