Job Description: We are seeking an experienced professional to assist in restructuring our employee salary components and updating our HR policies in line with the latest wage code regulations in India. The objective is to ensure full compliance while optimizing both internal policies and compensation structure from a statutory and practical perspective. The scope of work will include reviewing our current salary structure and HR policies, recommending a revised salary breakup as per the new wage code requirements (including basic salary thresholds, allowances, and benefits), and updating HR policies to align with the new labour codes. Clear documentation and practical implementation guidance will be required. Key Responsibilities: Review and restructure current salary components to comply with new wage code definitions. Analyse existing HR policies and amend them in line with updated labour laws. Ensure alignment between payroll structure and HR policies. Provide clear documentation, rationale, and compliance notes. Offer guidance on implementation and potential impact on payroll and employee cost. Key Requirements: Proven experience in Indian payroll structuring and wage code compliance. Strong understanding of the new labour codes and HR policy implications. Experience in drafting or revising HR policies in India. Ability to provide practical, compliant, and tax-efficient solutions. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with payroll systems and statutory compliance processes. Background in HR, payroll, or compensation consulting in India.
