Location: South Africa (Remote) Salary & Earnings Basic Salary: $1000 per month Performance-based commission structure Paid in line with agreed international payroll structure The Role We are looking for a Remote Internal Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in South Africa to join a growing sales team. This is a full-time, fully remote internal sales role supporting a UK-based field sales team. You will focus on outbound prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and booking high-quality meetings and trials. This is not a closing role and not a call centre role. You will work UK hours and engage directly with UK-based manufacturing businesses. Key Responsibilities: Conduct outbound calls to UK manufacturing companies (primarily food & drink). Engage with decision-makers across Engineering, Production, and Operations. Qualify opportunities based on suitability, need, and potential value. Book meetings, demos, and trials for field sales representatives. Maintain accurate CRM records (Zoho or similar systems). Follow structured call frameworks while maintaining a natural conversation style. Handle early-stage objections professionally and confidently. Represent the business in a clear, honest, and professional manner. What We’re Looking For (Essential): Excellent English communication skills (neutral, professional accent). Confident telephone manner with the ability to build rapport. Comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders. Highly organised and process-driven. Resilient with a consistent approach to outbound activity. Reliable internet connection and professional remote working setup. Ability to work UK hours (08:00 – 16:30 UK time). Desirable Experience: SDR, telesales, or appointment-setting experience. B2B sales experience. Experience working with UK or international clients. Exposure to manufacturing or industrial sectors. This role is ideal for someone who: Enjoys structured, internal sales work. Prefers quality conversations over high-volume calling. Works well independently in a remote environment. Values teamwork and collaboration with a wider sales team. Understands that strong qualification protects both the customer and the business. Working Hours: Full-Time position Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30 (UK time) Fully remote (South Africa-based) Training & Support: Full onboarding and product training provided.
