We go beyond software implementation by helping leadership teams identify where AI creates strategic advantage, establish governance, and deploy AI responsibly across their organizations. We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to identify prospective customers, understand their business priorities, and generate qualified discovery conversations with organizations exploring AI transformation. Position Overview The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating qualified enterprise opportunities through strategic account research, executive prospecting, and personalized outbound engagement. This role focuses on identifying organizations with meaningful AI adoption potential, engaging senior decision-makers, and creating high-quality discovery conversations that support long-term revenue growth. Success is measured by the quality of opportunities generated, consistency of pipeline development, and the ability to build credibility with executive stakeholders—not by high-volume outreach alone. You will work closely with leadership to identify target accounts, develop outreach strategies, and generate opportunities that support long-term business growth. Key Responsibilities Target Account Research Research organizations that align with Performance AI's ideal customer profile. Understand key decision-makers, strategic initiatives, organizational structure, buying signals, and potential AI transformation opportunities. Build and maintain high-quality target account lists using company-provided tools and independent research. Expand and refine prospect databases to support long-term pipeline development. Executive Outreach Develop tailored outreach that reflects each organization's strategic initiatives, operational challenges, and business objectives. Execute outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, phone, and other appropriate channels. Test and refine messaging to improve engagement and response rates. Conduct disciplined follow-up until a clear outcome is reached. Schedule qualified discovery meetings with senior decision-makers. Pipeline Development Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities. Ensure prospective customers align with Performance AI's ideal customer profile before scheduling meetings. Document meaningful account intelligence that supports successful discovery conversations. Identify trends and insights that strengthen targeting and outreach strategies. Sales Operations & Collaboration Maintain accurate CRM records, outreach activity, pipeline data, and prospect notes. Track outreach performance, response rates, meeting conversion metrics, and pipeline health. Leverage AI tools to improve research, productivity, and outreach efficiency while ensuring communication remains thoughtful, authentic, and aligned with Performance AI's standards. Collaborate with leadership to prioritize target accounts and industries. Share market insights gathered through prospect conversations. Contribute ideas that strengthen outreach effectiveness, messaging, and pipeline generation. Success Measures Success in this role will be measured by: Booking an average of 10 qualified discovery meetings per week. Generating a consistent pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities. Maintaining accurate CRM records and pipeline data. Improving outreach response and meeting conversion rates. Delivering thoughtful, relevant engagement with executive decision-makers. Strengthening outbound effectiveness through ongoing testing and performance analysis. Required Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Lead Generation, or B2B outbound sales. Demonstrated success booking meetings with senior decision-makers through outbound prospecting. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Executive-level communication skills with the ability to build credibility, ask thoughtful questions, and communicate professionally with C-level leaders and senior decision-makers. Strong prospecting, analytical, and organizational abilities. Experience conducting outbound prospecting through email, phone, LinkedIn, and similar channels. Excellent attention to detail with exceptional follow-through. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented. Ability to quickly understand business challenges across multiple industries. Comfortable learning AI-powered products and communicating technical concepts in business-friendly language. Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve research, productivity, and communication while maintaining originality, authenticity, and professional judgment. Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and similar prospecting tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience selling enterprise software, SaaS, AI, consulting, or technology solutions. Experience supporting enterprise or consultative sales cycles. Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment. Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling methodologies. Experience incorporating AI tools such as ChatGPT into professional research, prospecting, or sales workflows. Has a genuine hunter mentality—proactively identifying opportunities, opening doors, and creating conversations rather than waiting for leads to come to them.
