Sales Manager Custom Sports Apparel Company

We are looking for a practical, numbers-driven Sales Manager to help manage and improve our small, remote sales team for a custom sports apparel company. This role is not just motivational management. We need someone who can enforce sales activity, improve follow-up, review pipelines, train reps, and identify weak performers quickly. Responsibilities include managing daily and weekly sales rep activity, tracking calls, talk time, quotes, follow-ups, pipeline, and closed sales. You will review CRM activity, make sure leads are being worked properly, help train new sales reps during their first 60 to 90 days, improve scripts and follow-up processes, and report weekly on sales performance, rep productivity, and problem areas. The ideal candidate has experience managing remote sales reps, understands CRM discipline and sales KPIs, is comfortable holding people accountable, writes clearly in English, and is organized, direct, and numbers-focused. Experience with Close.com is a plus. Experience in apparel, team sports, uniforms, or B2B sales is also a plus. We want someone who can bring structure to the sales team without needing a large corporate system. You should be able to quickly spot which reps are working, which reps are wasting leads, and what needs to change. We expect this person to do this job full time.
