The Role: We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Salesforce Administrator to join our team in a dedicated support and governance capacity. The primary purpose of this role is to provide high-quality, responsive technical support to our Australia-wide Sales team and internal Operations staff, ensuring our digital contract tools and core processes operate without friction. Beyond support, you will act as the guardian of our system integrity, focusing on the cleanup and optimization of security settings, permission models, and system governance to improve overall platform health. Key Responsibilities - User Support & Operational Excellence Provide responsive, high-quality technical support to our national Sales team and Head Office Operations staff. - Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting our custom digital contract tool to ensure sales momentum is never stalled by technical hurdles. - Manage the user lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and resolving access issues with a focus on "First-Contact Resolution." - Create and maintain user-facing documentation and "How-To" guides to improve system adoption and self-service capabilities. Security & Governance - Audit and refine the Salesforce security model, including Profiles, Roles, Permission Sets, and Permission Set Groups, moving the org toward a "Least Privilege" model. - Perform deep-clean activities on neglected system areas, such as optimizing Page Layouts, cleaning up redundant fields, and managing Field-Level Security (FLS). - Review and optimize Sharing Rules and Organization-Wide Defaults (OWD) to ensure data visibility is both secure and performant. - Monitor system health and data integrity to identify and resolve potential security gaps before they impact the business. - Configuration & System Optimisation - Configure Salesforce features (Objects, Fields, Validation Rules, and Flows) specifically aimed at improving the user experience and internal workflow efficiency. - Build and maintain localized reports and dashboards to help Sales and Ops leaders track real-time performance. - Support the onshore team by managing "system debt" backlog items, allowing senior members to focus on high-level strategic initiatives. Qualifications - Required Skills and Experience - Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator with a heavy focus on User Support in a fast-paced environment. - Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce Security Model (Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, FLS, and Public Groups). - Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow and validation rules to automate and protect data entry. - Strong experience in "Org Refactoring"—cleaning up legacy layouts, unused fields, and redundant automation. - Experience supporting sales-related tools (CPQ, digital contract/e-signature tools, or similar). - Desirable Skills (Not required) - Experience with Salesforce Event Monitoring or Salesforce Security Center. - Familiarity with Salesforce Shield and encryption protocols. - Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder. - Previous experience working in an offshore/remote capacity supporting an Australian-based business. Soft Skills - A "Service-First" Mindset: Passionate about helping users solve problems and reducing frustration. - Meticulous Attention to Detail: A natural inclination toward organized, clean, and well-documented system architecture. - Communication: Strong written and verbal English skills, capable of explaining technical solutions to non-technical sales staff. - Prioritization: Ability to balance urgent "firefighting" support tickets with long-term governance cleanup projects. This role is remote and will be performed Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 5PM AEST) Also note the role will contractedand and paid at $10 AUD p/h (Based on experience and at the discretion of the hiring manager) due to being and Australian based buinsess.
