# Salesforce Administrator ## Position Summary The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the company's Salesforce platform. Helps ensure Salesforce supports business processes, provides accurate reporting, and delivers a positive user experience. The ideal candidate combines strong technical Salesforce expertise with excellent business acumen, problem-solving skills, and a passion for helping users work more efficiently. ## Key Responsibilities ### Salesforce Administration * Configure and maintain objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, approval processes, and automation. * Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings. * Monitor system health and proactively identify opportunities for optimization. * Maintain data integrity through validation rules, duplicate management, and regular audits. ### Reporting & Analytics * Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for executive leadership and operational teams. * Partner with Finance and Sales leadership to improve forecasting, pipeline visibility, and performance metrics. * Validate report accuracy and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies. ### User Support & Training * Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce support requests. * Troubleshoot user issues and resolve system problems in a timely manner. * Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions. * Drive user adoption by promoting Salesforce best practices and new functionality. ### System Enhancements * Manage and prioritize enhancement requests. ### Required * 3+ years of Salesforce Administrator experience. * Salesforce Administrator Certification * Strong understanding of Salesforce Lightning Experience. * Experience building reports and dashboards. * Experience with Flow automation. * Knowledge of security models, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. ### Preferred * Advanced Administrator Certification. * Experience with Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, or other CRM/marketing platforms. * Experience with data import and ETL tools. * Familiarity with Apex and SOQL (not required but beneficial). * Experience in professional services, consulting, or private equity-backed organizations. Success in this role will be measured by: * High Salesforce user adoption and satisfaction. * Accurate, timely, and trusted reporting. * Reduced manual processes through automation. * Timely resolution of user support requests. * Successful delivery of system enhancements. * Improved visibility into sales pipeline and business performance. * Reliable system uptime and governance.
