Salesperson with Media Selling Experience

Pressworthy is a PR software platform that helps small businesses and startups get press coverage and manage media outreach without hiring a full PR agency. We're looking for an experienced B2B sales freelancer to help us find and close new subscription customers. This is a pay-per-result role: you'll be paid a fixed fee of $120 for every new small business/startup you sign up to a paid Pressworthy subscription. There's no cap — the more customers you close, the more you earn. We're looking to build an ongoing relationship with the right freelancer(s), not a one-off project. What You'll Do Prospect and reach out to small business owners and startup founders who'd benefit from Pressworthy Pitch and demo the product (materials and training provided) Close new paid subscriptions Report closed deals so we can release payment for that milestone How Payment Works Each closed, paid customer = one fixed-price milestone at 10% Milestones are added and funded as new deals close and payment clears (typically within 5 days. This is a fixed-price, milestone-based contract — not hourly — so your focus is on results, not time logged Please note that Upwork's freelancer service fee (currently a variable rate, generally around 10%, locked in when you submit your proposal) applies to your earnings on top of the milestone amount What We're Looking For Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally SaaS, subscriptions, or software Comfortable working on a pay-per-result / commission basis with no hourly guarantee Strong written English and confident pitching/demo skills Own outreach tools and process (LinkedIn, email, cold calling, etc.) Available to work independently with minimal oversight To Apply Please include in your proposal: Relevant experience closing B2B/SaaS deals (numbers if you have them) Your general approach to finding and closing small business customers Any questions about the product or process We're happy to start with a small trial period (e.g. your first few prospects) before committing to a longer-term arrangement.
