Scriptwriter for High-Quality YouTube Real Estate Documentary Channel (Long-Form Storytelling)
Worldwide
Hi 👋🏽 I’m looking for an exceptional scriptwriter to become a long-term part of a new YouTube channel focused on real estate documentaries. This is not a property investing channel. We don’t make videos about “how to buy your first house” or “10 property investment tips.” Instead, we tell compelling stories about the business of real estate. Topics include: * Who owns the world’s most valuable buildings? * Billion-pound regeneration projects * The companies and billionaires shaping cities * The economics behind housing, commercial property and infrastructure * How landmark developments are financed * The hidden stories behind iconic buildings and places Think channels like The B1M, James Jani, MagnatesMedia and Wendover Productions—but focused on the property world. What I’m looking for I’m after someone who can turn research into engaging, documentary-style scripts that keep viewers watching from beginning to end. You should be able to: * Write compelling hooks that create curiosity. * Structure long-form YouTube scripts (2,500–4,500+ words). * Explain complex topics in a simple, engaging way. * Build tension and momentum throughout the script. * Write in a conversational, cinematic style. * Include smooth transitions and strong storytelling. * Fact-check information using reliable sources. The ideal candidate * Fluent English writer. * Experience writing YouTube scripts. * Strong storytelling ability. * Able to research independently. * Interested in business, real estate, economics, cities or architecture. * Reliable and open to feedback. * Looking for a long-term working relationship. To apply Please send: 1. Examples of YouTube scripts you’ve written. 2. A short paragraph explaining how you would approach this video idea: “Inside Manchester’s £70 Billion Property Boom (And Who’s Getting Rich)” Please don’t use AI to answer this question—I want to understand how you naturally think about storytelling. This is intended to be an ongoing role for the right person, with regular work as the channel grows.
