I’m looking for a reliable copyeditor & proofreader to help polish contemporary romance novels. ✅ What You’ll Do: Copyedit & proofread romance manuscripts (~60,000 words per book) Fix grammar, punctuation, spelling, and clarity issues Ensure consistency in character names, timeline details, and writing style Maintain the author’s voice while improving sentence flow Follow Chicago Manual of Style (or a similar style guide) ✅ What I’m Looking For: Experience editing romance novels (spicy romance preferred) Strong attention to detail (no missed typos or character mix-ups) A fast but thorough turnaround (preferably 2-3 weeks per book) Someone who is reliable & communicative—I need someone who can hit deadlines without reminders Potential for ongoing work.
