Senior Accountant — Workflow & UX Reviewer for Accounting Software

We're building software for accounting and bookkeeping firms and want experienced practitioners to pressure-test whether our workflows match how firms actually operate. This is not bookkeeping work — you won't be doing books. You'll evaluate the product as someone who'd use it daily and tell us where it's right, wrong, or missing something. What you'll do: Walk through workflows (client setup, engagements, document handling, month-end, billing, etc.) and assess fit against real firm practice Tell us what a real firm would expect that isn't there, what's structured wrong, and what would make you trust or distrust the tool Compare against tools you've actually used Give structured, prioritized feedback — not "I like it / I don't" You're a strong fit if you: Are a practicing or former CPA, accountant, or senior bookkeeper Have worked across multiple firms or clients — ideally onboarded/implemented firms onto practice management or accounting tools Can clearly articulate why a workflow is off and what would fix it Have strong opinions about the tools you use today To apply: Tell us about the firms/clients you've worked with and the size of those practices Which practice management, document, or accounting tools have you used, and which do you have the strongest opinions about? We'll begin with a small paid trial review before ongoing work.
