About the Project Our client is a US-based SaaS platform in the eCommerce intelligence and brand protection domain. The platform helps large brands with market monitoring, pricing enforcement, analytics, and automated decision-making at scale. The product has been on the market for around 10 years and is currently going through deep architectural modernization. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys database performance optimization, ETL improvements, complex SQL tuning, and working on scalable data-intensive systems. Responsibilities Optimize database systems for maximum speed, throughput, and efficiency. Analyze execution plans and identify database performance bottlenecks. Rewrite and optimize complex SQL queries. Perform hands-on query tuning across PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, and Yellowbrick. Configure and improve indexing strategies. Tune memory allocation and database performance settings. Identify and resolve hardware, infrastructure, or resource-related bottlenecks. Work with large data footprints and improve overall database performance and stability. Requirements 5+ years of experience as Database Administrator 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and database optimization using PostgreSQL/ MySQL. Experience with Snowflake or Yellowbrick.
