Senior DevOps/Infrastructure Expert Needed

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps or Infrastructure Engineer to take over, audit, and stabilize our e-learning infrastructure. Our previous deployment was mishandled, leaving us with configuration errors, recording processing failures, and broken server synchronization. We need a qualified professional to thoroughly audit our environment, fix all remaining issues, ensure automated recording syncing/processing works reliably, and verify overall system stability. Current Architecture & Stack: Moodle Server: Integrated with web hosting/Plex. BigBlueButton (BBB) Servers: Multiple nodes that need proper routing and stability. Scalelite: Needs review, proper configuration, and synchronization with the BBB nodes. Hetzner StorageBox: Used for centralized recording storage; needs correct mounting, permissions, and pipeline configuration so recordings process and store successfully without data loss. Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure Audit: Review our existing Moodle, BBB, and Scalelite setups to identify security gaps, configuration flaws, and points of failure. Fix & Stabilize: Correct all active server errors, SSL issues, and synchronization bugs between Scalelite and the BBB backend nodes. Recording Pipeline Verification: Test and ensure that session recordings successfully process, encode, and transfer to the Hetzner StorageBox reliably every time. Health Checks & Documentation: Provide a brief summary of fixes applied and verify that the system is fully production-ready for paying users. Required Qualifications: Proven, verifiable experience administering BigBlueButton, Scalelite, and FreeSWITCH. Strong background in Linux server administration (Ubuntu/Debian), SSH security, Nginx, and SSL management. Experience integrating BBB/Scalelite with Moodle. Familiarity with Hetzner infrastructure (Cloud servers and StorageBoxes). Strong troubleshooting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
