Senior Elementor Designer/Developer for Premium Life Sciences Homepage

We are looking for an exceptional Elementor designer/developer to create a new public-facing homepage for an established U.S. research/life-sciences company. This is NOT a typical WordPress or ecommerce homepage project. Our existing website is already professionally designed and fully functional. We are creating a new public homepage that needs to make a significant visual statement and position the company as a sophisticated, credible, full-scale research organization. The finished page must be built in Elementor/Elementor Pro and remain easily editable by our internal team. DESIGN DIRECTION We are looking for a premium, cinematic, scientific and institutional aesthetic with exceptional typography, composition and restrained motion. Think high-end biotechnology, analytical sciences or life-sciences corporate presentation — NOT a generic biotech template, medical clinic, supplement site, futuristic sci-fi design or conventional ecommerce store. Our current concept begins with a dramatic near-full-screen hero using a dark, dimensional scientific/abstract visual environment with subtle animation or motion. Working hero headline: RESEARCH BEGINS WITH CERTAINTY. Large, bold white typography positioned toward the left with minimal supporting copy. We want the background to feel alive through sophisticated, restrained movement — depth, lighting, atmospheric movement, slow dimensional motion, etc. — rather than looking like an obvious looping stock video. As the visitor scrolls, the homepage will progressively communicate: • Who we are • Our quality and research standards • Analytical verification and documentation • Our testing/verification philosophy • Company credibility and history • Pathways to public information such as Quality Standards, Testing & Verification, Shipping & Fulfillment and Payment Information • A final transition into our restricted Research Catalog We have real analytical documentation and company assets that can be incorporated creatively into the design. The public homepage will intentionally contain NO product listings, prices, featured products, promotions, Add to Cart elements or conventional ecommerce merchandising. TECHNICAL / PROJECT SCOPE This is one homepage, not a full-site redesign. Our site is WordPress/WooCommerce using Elementor Pro. The existing global header and footer are already complete and are NOT part of this project. The selected designer will be given appropriately restricted access to a staging copy of our actual website. The live production site will not be used for development. We strongly prefer native Elementor containers/widgets wherever practical. Custom CSS, JavaScript or animation libraries are acceptable where they materially improve the experience, but they must be clean and documented. We do not want unnecessary dependence on proprietary Elementor add-ons. The completed page must be intentionally designed and polished for desktop, tablet AND mobile. Mobile should not simply be an automatically stacked version of the desktop design. Performance matters. Video, animated backgrounds and other media must be appropriately optimized for web/mobile use. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Portfolio quality is considerably more important to us than price. We are specifically looking for someone with demonstrated ability in: • High-end modern web design • Premium/corporate brand presentation • Elementor Pro • Sophisticated typography and composition • Cinematic or immersive hero sections • Tasteful web animation and motion • Excellent responsive/mobile execution We are NOT looking for a standard Elementor template builder. WHEN APPLYING Please send 2–3 links to the projects in your portfolio that are MOST comparable to the level and visual style described above. Please do not simply send a large general portfolio. For each example, briefly tell us: 1. What you personally designed/developed 2. Whether it was built in Elementor 3. What animation or custom front-end work you implemented Also briefly explain how you would approach creating a cinematic animated hero while maintaining strong mobile performance. We have a clear creative direction and will provide the selected designer with a detailed creative brief, copy/content direction, visual references and existing assets. We are willing to invest appropriately for exceptional work and will select primarily on design quality, execution ability and fit rather than lowest bid.
