Remote Opportunity: Senior Financial ControllerThe Opportunity Omni Security is seeking a meticulous and strategic Senior Financial Controller to lead our financial operations. In this role, you will be the guardian of our financial integrity, ensuring precise reporting, regulatory compliance, and the execution of robust financial strategies. As a key leadership figure, you will guide our finance team and provide the insights necessary to drive our global growth objectives. Your Responsibilities As the cornerstone of our financial department, your role encompasses: - Financial Mastery: Lead the monthly close process, including reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring granular accuracy to mitigate risk. - Insightful Reporting: Produce management-ready financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) that are clean, actionable, and transparent. - Analytical Depth: Drive complex reporting structures, including Job Costing, Gross Margin Analysis, Recurring Revenue Analysis, and Predictive Revenue Forecasting. - Operational Oversight: Commission reports, AR/AP, Ratio Analysis, and Employee Costing & Efficiency Ratio. - Strategic Budgeting: Oversee Annual Budget preparation and Quarterly Reviews, providing proactive advice on business shortcomings and suggested improvements. - Compliance & Administration: Support federal/state filings Tax (1099, Sales Tax, W2), manage insurance renewals, and oversee contractor tracking. - Modern Visuals: Maintain intuitive internal dashboards that offer a "real-time" pulse of the company’s financial health. - Strategic Partnership: Serve as a sounding board for leadership, bringing innovative ideas to strengthen the financial backbone of our expanding group of businesses. About You We are looking for a professional who finds the narrative within the data, someone who doesn't just report numbers but tells the story behind them. - Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Senior Controller or similar finance leadership role. Preferred experience in the security or related service industry, with hands-on exposure to project-based work environments, subscription/recurring revenue models, and service contract billing. - Credentials: CPA, ACCA, CA, or a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. - Attributes: Deeply organized, autonomous, and a high degree of discretion regarding sensitive information. - Technical Proficiency: Expert-level command of QuickBooks Online and Google Sheets. - Tech Stack: Familiarity with CRM’s & Tools like Active Campaign, Basecamp, GSuite. - Availability: Ability to work EST (8 am – 5 pm), Monday through Friday.
