Senior Fractional CFO (Remote) | Fathom, KPI Development & Financial Advisory

Overview We are seeking experienced Fractional CFO professionals to support both internal and client-facing financial advisory engagements on a remote basis. This opportunity is ideal for seasoned finance leaders who enjoy helping organizations improve financial visibility, build reporting systems, develop KPIs, and provide strategic financial guidance without the commitment of a full-time executive role. We are interested in working with multiple professionals and welcome applications from experienced CFOs, finance executives, and senior financial consultants. Responsibilities Analyze and improve financial reporting processes Develop meaningful KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics Build and maintain management reporting within Fathom Create automated reporting systems and workflows Perform budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis Deliver strategic financial guidance to business owners and leadership teams Interpret financial results and provide actionable recommendations Support financial planning and decision-making initiatives Collaborate remotely with clients and internal stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a CFO, Fractional CFO, Controller, or senior finance executive Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and business performance metrics Experience with Fathom or similar financial reporting platforms Background in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders Experience supporting multiple clients in a consulting or advisory capacity CPA designation is a plus Bonus Skills Tax review experience Public accounting background Experience supporting accounting or CPA firms Process automation and workflow implementation experience Engagement Details Remote position Flexible workload based on project needs Ongoing opportunities available Multiple professionals may be hired When Applying, Please Answer the Following: 1.
