Senior Google Cloud (GCP) Architecture, Security & Cost Optimization Review

We are looking for a highly experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Architect / Cloud Security Consultant to perform a comprehensive assessment of our production infrastructure. We are looking for not an automated security scan or a generic checklist. The value we're looking for is practical experience and expert judgment. This is not an implementation project. We are looking for an independent expert who can objectively evaluate our architecture, identify risks, uncover optimization opportunities, and provide practical recommendations based on industry best practices. Objectives The engagement should include a comprehensive review of: - Overall cloud architecture and service design - Scalability and high availability - Reliability and fault tolerance - Disaster recovery strategy - Networking architecture - VPC design and segmentation - Firewall configuration - Secret management - Audit logging - Compliance with GCP security best practices - Identification of security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations - Resource utilization - Rightsizing opportunities - Idle resources - Network cost optimization The final deliverable should include: - Architecture assessment - Security assessment - Cost optimization assessment - Identified risks and vulnerabilities - Prioritized recommendations (Critical / High / Medium / Low) - Estimated implementation effort - Suggested roadmap for improvements We expect recommendations to be practical, prioritized, and supported by clear reasoning. Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect and Professional Cloud Security Engineer are highly preferred. This project is intended as an initial architecture review. If we're a good fit, we'd like to continue working together on future infrastructure improvements, security enhancements, and architectural decisions.
