About the Opportunity We are seeking Senior Finance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support the evaluation and improvement of advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) models. This is not a traditional finance role. You will leverage your real-world expertise to evaluate AI-generated financial reasoning, identify inaccuracies, validate complex financial analyses, and provide structured feedback that improves Large Language Models (LLMs). We are looking for professionals who can evaluate the work of other experienced finance professionals—not simply perform finance-related tasks. We Are Hiring Across Four Specializations Please apply only if your primary expertise aligns with one of the following: Investment Banking Quantitative Finance Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Investment Research & Capital Markets Ideal Candidates We're looking for professionals with: 5+ years of professional experience (exceptional graduate-level quantitative candidates may also be considered for Quantitative Finance) Deep subject matter expertise within their specialty Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent written English communication Experience reviewing complex financial analyses Familiarity with U.S. financial markets (preferred) AI evaluation, annotation, RLHF, or prompt engineering experience is a plus, but not required Requirements Available to begin project work as early as 6:00 AM Pacific Time (PST) when assigned Comfortable working in a project-based, ad-hoc environment Able to follow detailed evaluation guidelines while maintaining high quality standards Here's how I'd rewrite it: Schedule & Availability This is a project-based independent contractor opportunity supporting the evaluation of advanced AI models. Current Shift Availability IST: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST PST: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM PST At this time, the client is seeking consultants who can consistently commit to a full 8-hour shift during one of the schedules above. While you are expected to be available for the full shift, there is flexibility in how those hours are completed. For example, you may work 4 hours, take a break (up to 2 hours), and then complete the remaining 4 hours. As with many AI projects, work is assigned based on client demand. Although we anticipate strong project volume, available work may fluctuate over time. This engagement is best suited for consultants who are comfortable with a dynamic, project-based environment. AI Evaluation Experience Previous experience with AI evaluation, RLHF, prompt engineering, AI annotation, or LLM evaluation is strongly preferred. Candidates with exceptional finance expertise who are eager to learn structured AI evaluation workflows are also encouraged to apply. Trial Gig A paid Trial Gig may be required as part of the selection process, depending on client requirements. If activated, candidates who successfully meet the project's quality standards will be compensated for the Trial Gig and invited to join the production project.
