Senior NetSuite and Integration Technical Consultant (Contract - Flexible) Location: Remote Type: Contract Experience Level: Minimum 3 year of NetSuite and iPaas experience Start Date: ASAP About the Role SixLakes Consulting is seeking a Senior NetSuite Technical Consultant to join our growing team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic client environments and has a passion for Software development. Responsibilities Full-Cycle Implementation Leadership: Manage end-to-end NetSuite implementations from technical discovery and requirements analysis to deployment and post-go-live support, ensuring scalable and robust client solutions. Custom Development & Integration: Design, develop, and deploy custom scripts (SuiteScript), integrations (REST/SOAP), and technical solutions tailored to complex business needs. Strategic Technical Consulting: Provide expert guidance on system architecture, data modeling, performance optimization, and NetSuite development best practices. Technical Requirements Translation: Translate client requirements into scalable technical designs, including custom scripts, workflows, integrations, and automation solutions. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers to align technical execution with business goals and ensure seamless delivery. Technical Enablement & Support: Deliver technical training, solution handoffs, and developer-level documentation to support client self-sufficiency and maintainability. Technical Documentation Development: Create and maintain detailed documentation such as technical specifications, integration guides, deployment plans, and code annotations. Post-Go-Live Support & Optimization: Troubleshoot technical issues, implement system enhancements, and support ongoing solution evolution in alignment with changing client needs. Internal Knowledge Sharing: Contribute code libraries, technical templates, and best practices to enhance the technical consulting team’s capabilities and efficiency. Requirements 3+ years year of hands-on NetSuite experience (NetSuite certification is a plus) Experience delivering end-to-end implementations of iPaaS integrations (Celigo, Workato, Boomi, Mulesoft) Experience with SuiteScript 1.0/2.0/2.1 Experience with all SuiteScript types (Map/Reduce, Client, User Event, Suitelet, Restlet, etc) Familiarity with multiple NetSuite modules (e.g., Manufacturing, Inventory Management, CRM, SCM, Procurement, HRM) Proficient in creating Saved Searches, Dashboards, and Reports. Familiarity with NetSuite Workflows and SuiteAnalytics Comfortable working with clients across different industries and organizational sizes Experience conducting discovery sessions, documenting requirements, and designing scalable solutions Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred) Why SixLakes?
