Summary

About Holidog Holidog connects millions of pet owners with trusted sitters for boarding, walks, and home visits across Europe. Our ambition is bold: double the company and become the #2 global platform in pet care. We are building a product designed to grow internationally from day one, simplifying pet care at scale. About the role We are looking for a senior, product-minded CRO expert to build and own our experimentation engine across Product, Data and Technology. This is not a traditional CRO role. You will: Build a structured experimentation system from idea to execution Identify the highest-impact growth opportunities across the customer journey Challenge product, UX and business decisions using data Help teams prioritise what should actually be built You will work closely with Product, Tech, Design and Leadership in a fast-paced, iterative environment where decisions are driven by experimentation rather than opinion. About the product & the way we work C2C marketplace (web app, mobile app coming next) Product fully developed with AI assistance Continuous product evolution through short iterations No rigid experimentation roadmap — priorities evolve with data and business context Multiple teams contributing ideas across Product, Marketing and Operations Internal AI tools accelerating analysis, research and product development The value we expect from you We are not looking for someone who simply runs A/B tests. We want someone who can: Understand the product and business deeply Build a scalable experimentation process Turn data into clear product decisions Balance product, UX, marketing and technical considerations Help the company focus on the initiatives that create the highest business impact Your responsibilities Build and own Holidog's CRO operating system Create a framework to collect, organise and prioritise ideas across teams Define hypotheses, success metrics and experimentation plans Identify opportunities across acquisition, activation, conversion, retention and marketplace performance Analyse user behaviour and business performance using data Work with Product and Engineering to execute experiments Measure results and document learnings Challenge product, UX and business decisions when appropriate Help teams make better prioritisation decisions based on impact rather than intuition Mentor teams on experimentation best practices and contribute to building a strong experimentation culture Mandatory profile requirements Candidates must meet all three of the following requirements: Product-Led CRO: Proven experience driving experimentation across product, UX and business challenges, not only marketing funnels or landing pages. Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong expertise with analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude or equivalent), defining KPIs, analysing user behaviour and turning insights into actionable product decisions. Experimentation Systems: Proven ability to build scalable experimentation processes, prioritisation frameworks and cross-functional workflows that continuously generate and execute high-impact ideas. Other requirements Senior CRO / Growth / Product profile with strong autonomy Strong product mindset Excellent analytical skills Comfortable working across Product, Engineering, Design and Marketing Able to prioritise opportunities based on business impact Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong people skills with the ability to influence without authority Comfortable with ambiguity, changing priorities and rapid iterations Experience with marketplaces or complex user journeys is a strong plus English fluency required This role is not suitable if You mainly optimise landing pages or paid acquisition funnels You only focus on A/B testing without understanding the broader product You need fixed roadmaps or detailed specifications before contributing You prefer executing requests instead of challenging priorities We are looking for someone who can build systems, influence decisions and create a culture of experimentation that drives measurable business growth.
