Summary

We are a hardware startup scaling a fleet of smart thermal printers. The physical devices capture images and send them to an AWS backend, where a computer vision model processes the payload and returns it to the device in real-time. We have a dedicated DevOps agency managing the cloud infrastructure (Terraform, AWS EKS, API Gateway, mTLS) and a firmware/ML team handling the physical devices and model. We need a senior Python backend engineer to refactor our existing application code to be completely stateless so it can scale seamlessly across multiple Kubernetes pods under heavy load.
