Senior Web Designer & Developer for Global Capital Access Platform
Worldwide
We are not looking for a generic website builder. We are looking for a senior web partner who can translate a new global capital access platform into a credible, institutional-quality digital experience. We are seeking a senior web designer and developer to create the initial website for a new global capital access platform connecting innovation companies with family offices, institutional investors, high-net-worth investors, strategic partners and capital markets professionals. The first initiative will be the Canada-Israel Capital Growth Forum. The longer-term vision is to build a scalable platform that can support similar country-specific forums in other markets. This is not a conference website and not a generic startup site. We are looking for a polished, institutional-quality digital presence that feels credible to investors, public-company executives, boards, lawyers, accountants and capital markets professionals. Important Timing Note Our brand strategy, naming and visual identity are currently being developed through a separate engagement. The selected web partner will therefore need to work in two stages: 1) help refine the website architecture, user experience and content requirements while the branding process is underway; and 2) begin visual design and development once the core brand elements are approved. Those core elements will include: - parent company name; - logo system; - colour palette; - typography; - imagery direction; - messaging hierarchy; - relationship between the parent brand and the Canada-Israel Capital Growth Forum. We are intentionally sequencing the project this way to avoid redesign and ensure the website reflects the final brand system. Project Objective Create a focused, professional website that: - establishes credibility; - explains the platform; - attracts investors and participating companies; - showcases the Canada-Israel Capital Growth Forum; - communicates the broader global vision; - can be expanded over time. The first version should be elegant, fast and easy to maintain. We do not want to overbuild the site at launch. Strategic Positioning The organization should be presented as: - A trusted capital access platform connecting high-quality innovation companies with sophisticated investors and strategic partners. The platform helps companies: - refine their investment story; - prepare institutional-quality investor materials; - strengthen governance and capital markets readiness; - build relationships with family offices and institutional investors; - participate in targeted investor forums and roadshows; - support follow-on financings and long-term capital formation. Primary Audiences Investors Including: - family offices; - institutional investors; - high-net-worth investors; - strategic investors; - investment professionals. Their needs include: - understanding the platform; - selected companies; - accessing professional investment materials; - registering interest in upcoming forums; - meeting management teams. Growth Companies Including: - founders; - CEOs; - boards; - public and private growth companies. Their needs include: - understanding the value of participation; - seeing how the platform improves investor readiness; - learning about the Forum process; - expressing interest in participating. Capital Markets Community Including: - investment dealers; - research analysts; - securities lawyers; - accountants; - corporate finance professionals; - stock exchanges; - strategic advisors. Initial Website Scope We anticipate an initial website of approximately six to eight core pages. 1) Home Purpose: Immediately explain the platform and establish credibility. Possible headline: Connecting Innovation Companies with Global Growth Capital Possible supporting message: A trusted platform connecting selected growth companies with investors, family offices, strategic partners and capital markets communities. 2) About Content may include: - mission; - vision; - founder profile; - strategic relationships; - global platform concept. 3) For Companies Explain how the platform supports participating companies through: - investment story refinement; - institutional-quality materials; - capital markets positioning; - governance credibility; - investor introductions; - Forum participation; - follow-on financing support. 4) For Investors Explain: - the quality and selection approach; - types of participating companies; - investor benefits; - how to register interest; - how one-on-one meetings are arranged. 5) Canada-Israel Capital Growth Forum Position the Forum as: - A curated investor access experience. The Forum is expected to include: - company presentations; - invited investors and capital markets participants; - networking; - scheduled one-on-one meetings. It should not feel like a trade show or broad public conference. Participating Companies Each company profile may include: - logo; - short company description; - key investment highlights; - management team; - Institutional Investment Brief; - contact or expression-of-interest link. Insights or News A simple area for: - program updates; - company announcements; Forum news; - thought leadership. Contact For: - investors; - companies; - strategic partners; - media or capital markets participants. Brand Architecture and Scalability The website must support a parent brand with multiple country-specific forums over time. The structure should be capable of accommodating future programs such as: - Canada-Israel Capital Growth Forum; - Canada-US Capital Growth Forum; - Canada- Brazil Capital Growth Forum. We are looking for a design system that can scale without requiring an entirely new website for each future forum. Design Direction The website should feel closer to: - a boutique investment firm; - private capital platform; - institutional advisory organization; - premium professional-services brand. It should not feel like: - a startup showcase; - technology expo; - government program; - consumer website; - event-ticketing site. Desired Look and Feel The design should be: - clean; - sophisticated; - restrained; - globally credible; - relationship-focused; - easy to navigate. Preferred characteristics: - strong typography; - generous whitespace; - clear hierarchy; - premium photography; - subtle motion only where useful; - fast page loading. Avoid: - excessive animation; - stock-photo clichés; - generic circuit-board imagery; - rockets, lightbulbs or handshake graphics; - overly futuristic design; - cluttered conference layouts. Functional Requirements The initial website should include: - responsive design; - content management system; - simple internal editing; - investor and company inquiry forms; - newsletter or mailing-list integration; - analytics; - basic search-engine optimization; - security best practices; - cookie and privacy functionality where required; - scalable page templates for future companies and forums. Future Investor Portal The secure investor portal is not required for the first launch, but the site should be designed with future expansion in mind. A later phase may include: - approved investor registration; - password-protected company materials; - controlled access to investment documents; - meeting scheduling; - document version control; - investor-interest tracking. We would value recommendations on how the initial site should be structured so this can be added later without rebuilding the entire platform. Content and Collaboration We will provide: - strategic background; - draft copy; - company materials; - Institutional Investment Briefs; - branding guidelines once approved; - access to the project lead for decisions and feedback. The successful web partner should be comfortable: - refining page hierarchy; - improving content flow; - recommending where copy should be shortened or strengthened; - coordinating with the separate branding consultant; - translating the approved brand system into a digital experience. Required Deliverables Please propose a scope that includes, at minimum: - Discovery and Planning - kickoff meeting; - requirements gathering; - sitemap; - user journeys; - content and functionality recommendations. User Experience - wireframes; - page hierarchy; - navigation; - mobile considerations. Visual Design - homepage concepts; - key interior page designs; - responsive layouts; - application of the approved brand identity. Development - complete website build; - CMS setup; - responsive implementation; - forms and integrations; - analytics; - basic SEO; - testing and launch. Handover - administrator access; - documentation; - training; - source files; - agreed post-launch support period. Ideal Candidate We are looking for an individual or small senior-led studio with experience in one or more of the following: - financial services; - private equity; - venture capital; - investment platforms; - professional services; - capital markets; - institutional B2B websites; - premium event or membership platforms. Strong design judgment is essential, but so is the ability to understand a complex professional audience. Please Include in Your Proposal Please provide: - A brief explanation of how you would approach the project. - Relevant examples of institutional, financial-services or professional-services websites. - Your specific role in the examples submitted. - Your recommended technology platform and why. - Your proposed process and timeline. - Your fee structure, broken into phases where possible. - What you would work on while the branding engagement is still underway. - How you would coordinate with an external brand strategist. - What is included in testing, launch and post-launch support. - Confirmation that we will receive full access, source files and ownership of the completed website. Please do not submit a generic proposal. We are particularly interested in how you would translate an emerging global capital-access brand into a credible digital experience.
