Shipping Claims Specialist (Freelance, Part-time)

We are a growing e-commerce brand looking for a reliable freelance specialist to manage our shipping claims on a twice-per-month basis. This is a process-driven, detail-oriented role that requires accuracy and the ability to work independently within a defined workflow. Estimated commitment: 4 hours every two weeks · Claims must be filed within 30 days of delivery What you'll do - Pull reports from Gorgias following a provided step-by-step guide - File shipping claims through our 3PL portal following a provided step-by-step guide - Follow the documented claims process for accuracy and compliance - Work on a twice-per-month schedule to ensure claims are filed within the 30-day delivery window Minimum requirements - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes precisely - Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision - Reliable availability twice per month on a consistent schedule Preferred qualifications - Experience with 3PL platforms or similar fulfillment systems - Experience with Gorgias or similar customer support/helpdesk tools - Background in e-commerce operations or logistics - Experience filing carrier or fulfillment-related claims - Familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms What we provide - Clear, documented step-by-step instructions for pulling reports and filing claims - Direct point of contact for questions - Defined scope — this role is focused exclusively on shipping claims
