Shopify Brands Team Manager + VA and Research

Apply if you're in Europe only I’m an entrepreneur running multiple eCommerce brands and constantly working on new products, marketing ideas, and growth opportunities. I have no shortage of ideas. My biggest challenge is staying focused on the right priorities and making sure important projects actually get finished. I’m looking for someone who can become my right hand—a person who enjoys bringing order to chaos, keeping projects moving, doing research, solving problems, and making sure nothing important falls through the cracks. This is a long-term role for someone who wants to grow alongside a business. *Your Mission* Your mission is simple: Help me turn ideas into execution. Sometimes that means organizing projects. Sometimes it means researching a new market. Sometimes it means reminding me to finish what we’ve already started. Somtimes it means managing our small virtual team. The goal isn’t to keep me busy. The goal is to help me and the team make the biggest possible impact every week. What You’ll Be Doing* *Project & Execution Management - 2-3 short daily calls, 4-5 days a week- making sure I work, do what's more important, support and: •⁠ ⁠Keep all business projects organized •⁠ ⁠Break large goals into actionable tasks •⁠ ⁠Track deadlines and priorities •⁠ ⁠Follow up until things get done •⁠ ⁠Identify bottlenecks before they become problems •⁠ ⁠Help me stay focused on the highest-impact work Research & Business Analysis You’ll regularly research topics such as: •⁠ ⁠New business opportunities •⁠ ⁠Competitor analysis •⁠ ⁠Product ideas •⁠ ⁠Market trends •⁠ ⁠Customer insights •⁠ ⁠Pricing strategies •⁠ ⁠Supplier research •⁠ ⁠AI tools and automation •⁠ ⁠New software that could improve the business You’ll turn research into concise summaries with clear recommendations, not just lists of links. Operations •⁠ ⁠Follow up with freelancers •⁠ ⁠Draft emails and documents •⁠ ⁠Organize files and information •⁠ ⁠Build spreadsheets and comparison tables •⁠ ⁠Maintain project management systems (Basecamp) •⁠ ⁠Document processes (SOPs) •⁠ ⁠Help coordinate launches and ongoing projects Accountability One of the most important parts of this role is helping me stay focused. Every day you’ll check in on priorities, monitor progress, and make sure we’re working on the projects that will create the biggest impact. Sometimes that means reminding me to stop chasing a new idea and finish the current one.
