Shopify Developer/Designer with Experience in AI Integration

About the Role We are launching an exciting new Shopify business centered around pickleball, and we are looking for a versatile, creative, and tech-savvy individual to work closely with the founder. If you love the intersection of technology, design, and brand-building, this is for you. This role is roughly 70% creativity and 30% technical execution. We want someone capable, personable, and deeply trustworthy who wants to grow with us long-term. (An interest in pickleball is a massive bonus!) Scope of Work Phase 1: Immediate Launch Needs Conversion Optimization: Reformat the existing Shopify page to improve the user journey and maximize sales funnels. AI Integration: Implement and configure an AI emailing agent (Optional: Integrate Claude Commerce or similar AI shopping assistants). Creative Direction: Consult on visual assets, design a cohesive digital lookbook for the website, and ensure a premium brand feel. Copywriting: Write compelling on-brand copy and entries for the webpage to establish a clear, conclusive brand summary. Phase 2: Future Ecosystem Community Building: Scope and develop a membership/community program to track user accounts, recurring memberships, and backend sales data. Who You Are The Ultimate Generalist: You understand Shopify inside and out—not just the backend data, but how a front-end page layout impacts human psychology and conversions. Creatively Driven: You have an eye for clean aesthetics, appreciate good photography/assets, and can write engaging copy. Tech-Fluent: You are comfortable working with modern AI APIs, email automation, and Shopify apps/liquid code. A Startup Thinker: You enjoy brainstorming direction directly with a founder and taking ownership of projects rather than just waiting for instructions.
