About Precision Golf Studio Precision Golf Studio (precisiongolfstudio.ca) is a Canadian Shopify store selling premium golf simulator equipment — enclosures, launch monitors, hitting mats, projectors, and accessories. We drop-ship from North American suppliers and target Canadian customers across home, garage, basement, and commercial setups. The store is fully built and live with a complete product catalog. We are now entering the marketing phase and need a dedicated VA to build our online presence and drive traffic, starting with free channels before moving into paid advertising. The Role We are looking for a marketing-focused VA who can own three areas: technical setup and config, organic content and SEO, and eventually paid ads. This is an ongoing contract at approximately 20 hours per month with biweekly reporting to the owner. RATE $5-10 USD per hour, ongoing Upwork contract HOURS Approximately 20 hours per month REPORTING Biweekly performance summary — traffic, social growth, rankings Scope of Work by Phase The role is structured in three phases. Phases 0 and 1 are the immediate focus. Phase 2 comes later once organic traction is established. PHASE 0 Weeks 1-2 — Setup and config audit • Confirm GA4 is installed and firing on all pages — provide screenshot of real-time activity • Confirm Meta Pixel is firing correctly — provide screenshot from Meta Events Manager • Confirm Google Search Console is set up, verified, and sitemap submitted • Expand Google Merchant Center product feed to full catalog, confirm all products approved • Complete Facebook Page setup: cover photo, About section, website link, contact info • Complete Instagram profile: bio, website link, profile photo consistent with brand • Deliver a short Phase 0 completion report confirming all items are live and verified PHASE 1 Ongoing from Week 3 — Free channels — this is the main focus • Write 2-3 SEO blog posts per month targeting Canadian golf simulator search terms • Post 3x per week across Facebook and Instagram (product posts and consultation content) • Post weekly updates to Google Business Profile • Optimize existing Shopify product page titles and meta descriptions for search • Submit content calendar to owner for approval every 3 weeks before posting • Deliver biweekly report covering sessions, social follower growth, and Search Console rankings PHASE 2 Later — timing TBD — Paid ads, once Phase 1 shows traction • Set up and manage Google Shopping campaigns within agreed monthly budget • Build and optimize Meta ad campaigns over time • Monitor spend, adjust bids, and report on ROAS biweekly • This phase will be discussed and agreed with the owner before any spend begins Content Detail: Two Post Streams Social posting follows two distinct content streams. The VA must understand the difference and not mix them. Stream A: Standalone product posts Goal: drive clicks to product pages and generate direct sales on lower-ticket items. • Products: hitting mats, accessories, budget launch monitors (Rapsodo MLM2PRO, FlightScope Mevo Gen2, etc.) • Frequency: 2 posts per week • Format: clean product image, short caption, price, direct link or link in bio • Tone: straightforward, value-focused Example: "Practice your swing year-round. The Rapsodo MLM2PRO is $949 CAD with free shipping across Canada. Link in bio." Stream B: Full simulator consultation posts Goal: drive traffic to the Free Setup Recommendation page for high-ticket package inquiries. • Products: full simulator packages $5,000 to $20,000+ • Frequency: 1 post per week • Format: aspirational lifestyle image, no price shown, CTA to free consultation • Tone: aspirational, helpful, Canadian Example: "Every great golf simulator starts with the right plan for your space. We'll help you spec it out for free. Link in bio." Must Haves Skill Why it matters GA4, Meta Pixel, and Search Console setup on Shopify Phase 0 cannot be completed without this Strong written English Blog posts must read naturally — no AI filler Facebook and Instagram business account management Core of Phase 1 content work Shopify familiarity (blog publishing, basic admin) All content goes live through Shopify Reliable communication, responds within 24 hours Owner has limited time — no chasing required Nice to Haves • Experience with Google Shopping and Meta Ads (for Phase 2) • Background in sporting goods, golf, or high-ticket ecommerce • Basic Canva skills for social post graphics • Familiarity with Google Merchant Center
