Shopify Store Manager / Developer

We're a fast-growing DTC pet brand expanding from the UK into international markets. We're looking for a skilled Shopify developer/store manager for an immediate project, with a view to an ongoing long-term working relationship for regular store changes and code edits. The immediate project: international market setup + localisation We're launching international storefronts (US, AU, CA, NZ) and need someone to set up Shopify Markets and localise each storefront properly. This includes: Setting up international markets in Shopify Localising on-site copy per market, e.g. "Free shipping over £40" → "Free shipping over $50", "Free UK returns" → "Free US returns", and similar throughout the site Updating our custom-coded option/variant selector: the prices on the option pickers are currently hard-coded in GBP and need changing per market via the code You should be comfortable working in custom Shopify code, not just the theme editor, since parts of our store (like the offer/option selector) are custom-built. Ongoing (after the project) Once the localisation is done, we want a reliable go-to person for regular Shopify changes and code edits as we grow, on an as-needed basis. What you need: Strong working knowledge of Shopify: theme editing, Liquid, and how the store is structured and edited end to end Comfortable editing custom code in a Shopify theme (not just drag-and-drop) Experience with Shopify Markets / international selling and localisation Proficiency using AI for coding, ideally Claude, to write and edit code efficiently Clear communicator, reliable, and able to turn changes around quickly Fully remote, fluent in English To apply: Briefly tell us (1) your Shopify localisation/Markets experience and (2) whether you're comfortable editing custom theme code.
