Short-form video & social content creator for a UK software studio (ongoing, part-time)

We're WeGetDesign, a UK studio that builds and runs software products. Our current focus is MyFloorPlan, a product that turns a building's floor plan into a living, useful record, used by estate/letting agents and property managers. It's visual by nature: floor plans, walkthroughs, before/afters, and screen-recordings of the app in action. We're not starting from zero, but we're not organised either. We have a marketing folder, past content, some social presence, branding, but it's scattered, and there's no system holding it together. What we need first isn't a flood of content; it's someone to help us build a simple, repeatable system for planning, creating, and scheduling, working closely with our founder and then gradually make it faster, smoother, and more self-running over time. The role (how it grows) First few weeks: get into our systems and material, bring order to the scattered content, and work out a light content plan with the founder. Slow and steady is expected, we're building foundations, not chasing quick wins. Then: start producing content on a modest cadence, roughly one short video every 2–3 weeks, plus one piece of written content alongside it and build momentum from there. Over time: as the system matures and trust builds, this role grows toward owning and running the content operation, with more hours and responsibility and expanding beyond MyFloorPlan to our other projects (we have several in the property industry and beyond. As you establish yourself and take on ownership, your compensation grows to match, this is a genuine opportunity for someone who wants long-term career progression in this industry, not just a one-off gig. Most of the content is faceless and product-led, the app and floor plans are the star, not a presenter. (Our founder appears occasionally for short pieces.) What you'll do - Help design and run a simple system for planning, creating, and scheduling content - Turn our raw material (screen-recordings, plan exports, voice notes, rough clips) into short-form video - Write one supporting piece of content alongside each video - Suggest angles and hooks suited to a UK property/business audience - Keep the cadence alive so publishing actually happens consistently Tools We provide all the tooling at a professional level, Canva, Claude, OpenAI, and Gemini for AI-assisted work. We expect you to be comfortable using AI to work faster and smarter. What we're looking for - A capable short-form video editor, ideally with examples of product, screen-recording, or faceless content that holds attention (not just talking-head or lifestyle reels) - Someone organised and self-starting who can build order and process, not just make one-off pieces - Good written English — you'll write as well as edit - A feel for a professional (not hype) audience - Reliable and easy to work with; someone we can grow with Hours & terms Contractor basis with WeGetDesign. 10 hours/week minimum to start, growing as the role and our projects expand.
