Summary

I need a simple breakout PCB designed for a SOIC-16 IC (EL4583CS sync separator) with onboard passive components and labeled solder pads. This board is part of a small automotive electronics product. The finished board needs to fit inside a compact enclosure alongside an existing PCB. The optimal size is 35x35-40mm square or rectangle. **What the board does:** Breaks out the EL4583CS SOIC-16 IC to through-hole solder pads, with the required passive components pre-placed on the board. I solder wires from the labeled output pads to connect to the main converter board. Think of it as a self-contained module. **Required onboard components (footprints + routing):** - U1: EL4583CS SOIC-16 (all 16 pins broken out to labeled through-hole pads) - R1: 75Ω 0603 — shunt resistor from SIG IN pad to GND - R2: 330kΩ 1% 0603 — from Pin 12 (RSET) to GND - R3: 100kΩ 0603 — from Pin 2 to GND - C1: 0.1µF 0603 ceramic — series coupling cap from SIG IN junction to Pin 8 - C2: 0.1µF 0603 ceramic — from Pin 14 (VDD) to GND - GND rail and VCC (+5V) rail on board **External solder pads (labeled, through-hole, for wires):** - VCC — +5V power input - GND — ground - SIG IN — composite video input signal - HSYNC — Pin 15 output to main board - VSYNC — Pin 5 output to main board **Mechanical requirements:** - Target size: 25×25mm or smaller - 4× M2 mounting holes (2mm diameter, 2mm from corners) - All pads and component references clearly silkscreen labeled - Must fit within enclosure alongside HD165B board **Deliverables:** - KiCad source files (schematic + PCB layout) - Gerber files ready to upload directly to JLCPCB - Drill files - Simple assembly diagram showing component placement **I will provide:** - Full component datasheet (EL4583CS) - Complete BOM with Mouser part numbers - Visual schematic showing all connections - Mechanical dimensions of existing board for fit verification - Full project context document **What I do NOT need:** - Component sourcing - Assembly - Full product PCB (this is prototype phase only) **Experience required:** - KiCad 6 proficiency - JLCPCB design rules familiarity - Experience with analog/mixed-signal boards preferred - Small form factor PCB layout experience **Timeline:** 3-5 days
