Social Media Manager for Mental Health Private Practice (Therapist Niche Experience Required)

**About the Role:** I'm a registered therapist and founder of Drop of Dew Counselling, a private practice based in Edmonton, Alberta. I'm looking for a social media manager who has specific experience working with therapists, counsellors, or mental health professionals to grow their audience and attract real clients — not just followers. This is not a general social media role. I need someone who understands the mental health space, ethical marketing for regulated health professionals, and how to create content that builds trust and converts. **What You'll Be Managing:** - Instagram (primary platform) - TikTok (secondary) **What the Role Includes (12 videos/month):** - Content planning and strategy - Script writing for Reels (you write, I record or you help with voiceover) - Video editing (captions, B-roll, text overlays, transitions) - Caption writing with CTAs - Hashtag and SEO strategy - Scheduling and posting OR providing ready-to-post files - Monthly performance review and content adjustments **What I'm Looking For:** - Proven experience with therapists, psychologists, or mental health creators specifically - Portfolio showing mental health/wellness accounts you've grown - Client testimonials or case studies (follower growth, reach, or client inquiries generated) - Understanding of ethical marketing in healthcare — no exaggerated claims, no fear-based tactics - Strong script writing ability — my content voice is direct, dry, emotionally intelligent, and clinically grounded (not fluffy or generic) - Video editing skills: CapCut or similar - Familiarity with Instagram Reels algorithm and growth strategy **Nice to Have:** - Experience with South Asian or multicultural wellness audiences - Knowledge of trauma-informed content - Experience growing accounts from under 10K to 50K+ **Budget:** $300 USD/month (12 videos) This is a starting rate for the right candidate with a strong fit.
