Social Media Manager

U Trust Insurance Agency is looking for a hands-on Social Media Manager & Content Creator located in the Vancouver, WA / Portland, OR area. This is a hybrid freelance opportunity that requires regular on-site visits to our Vancouver office. Please do not apply if you are unable to film content in person. We need someone who can manage the full content process: Develop creative content ideas and a monthly content calendar Visit our Vancouver office regularly for photo and video production Film employees, interviews, educational videos, workplace activities, and behind-the-scenes content Edit Reels, Shorts, interviews, and other social media videos Write captions and adapt content for each platform Schedule and publish content Manage content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Support content for company executives’ personal LinkedIn profiles Monitor performance and recommend improvements This is not a strategy-only role. We are looking for someone who can personally handle content planning, filming, photography, editing, copywriting, and publishing. Ideal candidate Located within reasonable driving distance of Vancouver, WA Proven experience managing business social media accounts Strong photo and video portfolio Experience creating Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and professional LinkedIn content Able to independently film and edit high-quality content Comfortable directing and interviewing employees on camera Strong visual storytelling and copywriting skills Has access to appropriate filming and editing equipment Organized, reliable, and able to manage the content process with limited supervision Experience with B2B companies, professional services, insurance, finance, transportation, or trucking is a plus.
