Social Media Manager

About Us We're a growing direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand looking for an organised, creative, and proactive Social Media Manager to help us build our online presence. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment. The role will begin part-time (approximately 15–20 hours per week) with the opportunity to move into a full-time position after around 3 months, based on performance and business growth. What You'll Do 1. Schedule and publish content across our social media channels. 2. Keep our content calendar organised and up to date. 3. Monitor comments and messages, responding or escalating where needed. 4. Assist with planning weekly and monthly content. 5. Track basic social media performance and prepare simple reports. 6. Stay up to date with social media trends and suggest new content ideas. 7. Support general marketing and admin tasks as required. We're Looking For Someone Who 1. Is organised and has strong attention to detail. 2. Has good written communication skills. 3. Is comfortable using Instagram, TikTok and other social media platforms. 4. Can manage their time and work independently. 5. Is eager to learn and take initiative. 6. Has basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools. 7. Has basic experience with scheduling tools (or is willing to learn). 8. Enjoys working in a startup where responsibilities can vary. Experience 1. No extensive experience required. 2. Recent graduates, students, or candidates with personal social media projects are encouraged to apply. 3. Any previous experience in retail, customer service, marketing or social media is a bonus but not essential. What We Offer 1. Flexible part-time hours to start. 2.
