Social Media Specialist — Commercial Furniture Brand
Worldwide
We're a commercial furniture company, serving businesses with furniture solutions (chairs, tables, booths, outdoor, etc.). We're looking for a social media specialist to grow our visibility with the professionals who spec and buy commercial furniture — and to help position us as a trusted knowledge resource in our space, not just another vendor. Where We're Active: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Who We're Trying to Reach: -Interior designers and design firms -Procurement teams and purchasing managers -Facilities and property managers -Architects and general contractors -Hospitality, restaurant, and office fit-out decision-makers -Furniture dealers and reps What You'll Do: -Manage and maintain a regular posting schedule across our current channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest), with LinkedIn a priority given our B2B audience -Create posts featuring our products and new projects we've completed -Develop carousel and educational posts that build authority — think material/finish guides, "how to spec commercial seating," care and durability breakdowns, sourcing/lead-time explainers, and other content that makes us a go-to reference for dealers and customers, not just a seller -Create and/or source content that speaks to trade professionals: product specs, project applications, material/finish details, behind-the-scenes sourcing -Write captions that read as credible and professional to a design/procurement audience, not just eye-catching -Identify and engage with relevant industry hashtags, design firm accounts, and trade conversations to build visibility in that world -Track engagement from the audiences that matter (are designers, procurement, and dealers actually engaging and saving/sharing content, not just volume) -Coordinate with us on product photography needs and any trade show or project features What We're Looking For: -Proven experience managing social media for a B2B or trade-focused business (design, architecture, contract furniture, building materials, or similar a strong plus) -Experience creating educational/carousel-style content that simplifies technical or industry information into something visually digestible -Understanding of how to speak to a professional/procurement audience vs. a general consumer one -Strong eye for visual content and consistent brand presentation -Comfortable working independently with light oversight -Good communication and reliability -Familiarity with scheduling tools (LinkedIn/Meta Business Suite, etc.) and carousel/design tools (Canva, Figma, or similar)
