About College Park College Park is one of New Zealand's fastest-growing youth basketball event platforms, delivering premium basketball experiences, development opportunities, and leadership-focused programmes for young athletes across the South Island. Since launching, we have: Delivered 5 successful events across New Zealand Hosted approximately 500 players Welcomed over 3,500 attendees Generated more than 1.5 million Instagram visits in our strongest month Begun developing international basketball tour opportunities for New Zealand athletes We are now looking for an experienced Sponsorship & Partnerships Manager to help secure national and regional sponsorship partners. The Role We are seeking a proactive, results-driven sponsorship professional who can help build and execute a sponsorship strategy for our events, tours, and future programmes. This is not a generic marketing role. Your primary objective will be identifying, approaching, and securing sponsorship and partnership opportunities. Responsibilities Research and build a database of potential sponsors Identify key decision-makers within target organisations Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, phone, and other channels Schedule meetings with qualified prospects Assist with sponsorship proposal development Manage sponsor pipelines and follow-up processes Help create partnership packages and sponsorship assets Provide weekly progress reports and recommendations Support long-term partnership development Ideal Experience We're looking for someone who has experience in one or more of the following: Sports sponsorship sales Event sponsorship sales Partnership development Corporate partnerships Business development Fundraising and strategic partnerships Experience working with sporting organisations, festivals, conferences, youth programmes, or community initiatives is highly desirable.
