Summary

We are one of the leading school photography companies in the Mid-Atlantic region, serving over 400 schools throughout Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, and beyond. We are seeking an experienced Squarespace and Acuity Scheduling expert to help redesign and restructure our senior portrait scheduling experience. This is not simply a website redesign project. We are looking for someone who can improve the customer journey, optimize the booking process, and recommend a scalable website architecture that supports future growth. About the Project: Parents currently visit our website to learn about senior portrait session options, compare packages, and schedule appointments. While our current system functions well, we believe the experience can be significantly improved by creating a more guided and intuitive journey that helps parents make decisions without feeling overwhelmed. We currently use: * Squarespace * Acuity Scheduling (Enterprise Plan) * School-specific scheduling pages * School-specific appointment types and pricing structures Because we serve hundreds of schools, scalability and ease of maintenance are extremely important considerations. Project Goals: We would like to create a parent experience that: * Feels more visual and user-friendly * Guides parents through the decision-making process * Clearly explains session options and package differences * Reduces information overload * Improves conversion from page visit to appointment booking * Integrates seamlessly with Acuity Scheduling In addition, we are looking for recommendations on how to better structure content within Squarespace so information can be maintained efficiently across many school-specific pages. Discovery & Strategy: * Review existing website structure * Review current Acuity setup * Identify pain points and opportunities * Recommend website architecture improvements * Recommend scalable content management strategies UX & User Journey Design: * Design a guided parent experience * Create improved information hierarchy * Develop package selection and comparison experience * Recommend best practices for mobile and desktop users Squarespace & Acuity Implementation: * Build new page layouts within Squarespace * Improve Acuity integration and scheduling flow * Optimize navigation and user experience * Ensure responsive design across all devices Documentation & Handoff: * Provide documentation for future updates * Share recommendations for long-term scalability * Support launch and testing Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone with experience in: * Squarespace development * Acuity Scheduling integrations * UX/UI design * Information architecture * Customer journey optimization * Conversion-focused website design Bonus experience: * Photography studios * Education-related businesses * Multi-location businesses * Large-scale content management To Apply Please include: 1.
