Squarespace Designer to Build 5-Page Site from Finished Copy Deck (Premium Electrical Contractor)

DESCRIPTION We're launching Voltwell Electric, a premium residential electrical contractor in San Diego specializing in custom homes, smart-home integration (Lutron, SPAN), and high-end lighting. The brand targets luxury homeowners and high-end general contractors, so the site needs to look and feel the part: modern, clean, confident, not like a typical contractor site. The heavy lifting is done. All copy is written and organized in a structured copy deck (H1/H2/H3 hierarchy, section by section, with CTAs and layout notes). A style guide exists with a full logo suite (black/white versions in PNG, SVG, EPS, AI), the Montserrat typeface, and a favicon. The Squarespace site is set up, template can be selected. Your job is design execution: take the copy deck and build pages in Squarespace that are visually interesting, modern, and on-brand. You'll be choosing and styling modules/blocks thoughtfully so the pages don't read as a wall of text. Good instincts for spacing, hierarchy, and section variety matter more here than custom code. Important note on imagery: We are launching with placeholder and AI-generated images. The owner's photoshoot happens soon after launch, so all image blocks must be set up to be swapped later WITHOUT redoing layouts. Build with that in mind. As part of Phase 1 you'll also deliver a shot list: a simple list of the photos each page needs (orientation, subject, placement) so the photoshoot can be planned against the actual design. Copy Deck / Style Guide Attached SCOPE Phase 1 (this contract): 5 topline pages Home Services (parent page, covers all services at a high level) Projects & Service Areas (combined page: project grid + neighborhoods served) About Contact (with quote request form) Plus: photography shot list deliverable, mobile responsiveness pass, and basic on-page SEO (page titles and meta descriptions are provided in the deck; you just apply them). Phase 2 (future contract for the right person): ~54 subpages 10 service deep-dive pages (copy already written, same structure for all 10, so this is template-driven work) 44 San Diego neighborhood/area pages built from a single template with area-specific intros We intend to award Phase 2 to whoever does well on Phase 1, so this is a larger relationship than the initial milestone suggests.
