Staff GL Accountant

We're looking for a part-time Staff Accountant to support our accounting team, approximately 10–15 hours/week (hours may flex based on skill set and deliverables). Availability must be spread across the week to respond promptly to customer and employee questions. Responsibilities General Accounting - Assist with month-end close - Book revenue entries in NetSuite - Enter orders in Salesforce (syncs with NetSuite) and set up invoices - Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations - Prepare and maintain prepaid expense schedules - Assist with compiling audit documentation Accounts Receivable - Send dunning notices to customers - Own client communication on collections, account reconciliation, and inquiries - Track customer payments and escalate as needed - Apply cash receipts (customer and non-customer) Accounts Payable - Code invoices in Bill.com - Communicate with vendors - Review Expensify reports for accuracy Support testing for new systems, depending on skill set: - Nue.io - Zone Billing (multi-currency) - Expense reporting (vendor TBD) Required Skills - Experience in Collections, AR, and AP - Proficiency with NetSuite, Expensify, Bill.com, Excel, and Google Sheets - Self-directed with a solutions-oriented mindset - Collaborative team player with a proactive approach Nice to Have - Salesforce experience - Revenue recognition experience
