Static Ad Creative Strategist & Designer (DTC / Meta)
Worldwide
We're hiring: Image Ad Specialist (Strategist–Designer) Remote · Long-term role with a fast-growing DTC brand Read this part carefully - it's not a normal design job We're a fast-growing DTC brand scaling our paid social on Meta, and we're looking for one person to join our team and own our image ad channel end to end. That means more than design. We'll give you the persona breakdown and the overall direction of where we're heading - with as much detail and context as we can (and trust us, we have a lot of it). From there, you work out the angles, decide the direction to take within that, write the headlines and the copy, choose the formats and frameworks, and produce the finished static. The strategy and the words matter as much as the design - arguably more. If you're someone who wants a detailed brief handed to you so you can "just make it look nice," this isn't your role, and you'll know that already. But if you've ever looked at an ad and instantly understood why it works - the angle, the hook, the layout, the psychology - and you can build that yourself from scratch, keep reading. What you'll actually do - Take our persona breakdown and overarching direction - rich with context - and run with it. - Work out the angles and the direction to go within that overarching strategy. Decide what's worth testing. - Write scroll-stopping headlines, subheads, and copy in natural customer language. - Choose the formats and frameworks - the structural makeup of each ad. - Produce the finished statics - polished and deliberately raw/native (UGC, sticky-note, whiteboard, faux-screenshot styles). - Build an inspiration bank - constantly pulling reference from the best DTC brands and feeding fresh ideas into the account. - Work across top, middle, and bottom of funnel - especially through gifting season. - Sit in the weekly loop with us: look at what's performing, brainstorm what to double down on, adjust. Who this is for: You're a hybrid - part creative strategist, part designer. You understand awareness stages, persona psychology, and angle diversity, and you can turn that understanding into an ad that converts. You can write - really write, the kind of headline that stops a thumb. And you're fluent with AI image and design tools, because in this day and age that's how one person owns a whole channel that used to take three. You take loose direction and turn it into sharp work without hand-holding. You have a point of view. You'd rather own an outcome than be told exactly what to make. What makes this exciting: This is your channel to build. We hand you the strategic foundation - deep persona research, customer language, the whole system - and you make the image output your own. Real responsibility, real impact, and you'll see exactly how your work performs at the account level because you'll be in the data with us. You'll also be close to the whole picture - not siloed in image production, but in the room as we build the brand across video, image, and overall direction. It's a genuine seat on the team. And it's built to grow. This starts as owning image execution and is designed to grow into a senior role owning our overarching image creative strategy through the rest of the year and beyond, for the right person. How we'll work together: We set the overarching strategy and persona goals. You own everything from the angle down. We meet weekly to share what's working, brainstorm, and push it forward - and we run a tight, supportive revision loop, especially early on while you're learning our system. We start slow and ramp deliberately. We're not looking to go all guns blazing from week one - we want the foundations right first. To apply Please get in touch with: - A short note on why this role fits you specifically - the strategy and copy side as much as the design. - Your portfolio, ideally including static ads you've made. If you strategised, wrote the copy, and chose the angle yourself, say so. - Your experience with AI image and design tools - and which tools you use day to day. - A one-minute Loom telling us why you'd be perfect for this role - made however you want. We will have a trial/ test process also - strong applicants will work on a test, so we both know it's a fit.
