Subtitle Quality Reviewer (Indonesian)

About the Role: We are looking for detail-oriented freelance Subtitle Quality Reviewers proficient in Indonesian (Native). The selected candidates will be responsible for reviewing subtitles against audio/video content to ensure accuracy, synchronization, and linguistic quality. Key Responsibilities • Review subtitle (.SRT) files while listening to the corresponding audio or video content. • Verify that subtitles accurately match the spoken dialogue. • Ensure subtitle timing and synchronization are correct. • Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors. • Check for missing, incomplete, or incorrect subtitles. • Ensure consistency in language usage, terminology, and style throughout the content. • Flag any audio quality issues, unclear speech, or subtitle mismatches. • Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Native or near-native proficiency in Indonesian (reading, writing, and listening). • Excellent comprehension of spoken Indonesian and/or Turkish. • Strong grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills. • Ability to accurately compare audio/video content with subtitle files. • High attention to detail and quality. • Comfortable working with subtitle formats such as .SRT. • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience in subtitle review, transcription, translation, localization, captioning, or linguistic quality assurance. • Familiarity with subtitle editing tools and media players. • Experience working with multilingual content.
